Racism, Capitalism and Rebellion

We’re now in the midst of what we can definitively say is the biggest wave of mass protests in the United States since the 1960’s. Protests have emerged in all fifty states, in every major city. The character of these uprisings has been less like protests and more like a rebellion with tens of thousands of people taking to the streets, blocking highways, burning and destroying police cars, tearing down confederate monuments and every symbol they could think of economic and racial oppression.
